(More customer reviews)Great for the money.The mica is natural, but is multiple pieces formed together in what looks like a resin.It looks pretty much in person as it does on line.I was looking for a more amber color mica, this is more like parchment color.It was easy to install and looks great up.I am happy with this purchase and this line of lighting.I also bought the flush mount.I placed them in the upper hallways on my second floor.They give off great light.I am using the energy efficient light bulbs 3 x 60 watts in this semi flush mount and 3 x 40 watts int he flush mount.

The iron look metal frame features interlaced scrolls in a dark walnut finish. The shade is fashioned from the naturally occurring mica mineral. Slight variations due to the natural tone and pattern of the mineral make each shade unique. Flushmount-style light fixture. Takes three 40 watt bulbs (not included). Measures 12" wide, 3 1/2" high.
