I called the service number and they assured me that I could find a new bulb at numerous local stores, but they would send me a new one.After searching for a week, I discovered that a xenon bulb with that base is available only on the internet. A week after Christmas, I got the bulb they sent. Unfortunately, the bulb is the wrong size base (way too big for the fixture), and I have no use for it.
