(More customer reviews)The picture of this ceiling light is very deceiving. It looks like the base of the lamp is flush with the ceiling, which was the sleek look that I was after. But it is not. There is an additional base depth of about 3 inches of a smaller diameter that the pic does not show. When installed, the large round base is actually "hanging" 3 inches from the ceiling. While the quality and finish seem fine, this lamp seems over-priced. IKEA sells one that looks very much like it at under $10, that DOESN'T use a specialty bulb (read expensive).
